How is a customer’s plan built in UFE?
Customers that connect or change plan can avail of some built in discounts that may result in set a monthly fee for 6/12 months.
After this term is up the discount will drop off and the monthly fee will increase.
Some of these discounts are built to remain and will not drop off after 12 months, these are the discounts designed to configure the correct pricing.
These are indicated by the description "Bundle Disc **** **"
Business Example below for change of plan: €55 for the first 12 months
"Bundle Disc Broadband 27" = - €27.00 on the plan.
"Intro Disc BB 20 - 12 mth" = -€20 for 12 months.
What type of discounts can a customer have?
UFE has several designed discounts:
- Built into the plan "first time connections or change of plan."
- Save offers 3/6/12 month discounts "offered and applied via Manage Components.”
How to read a Business fixed price setup in UFE
To see a customer's pricing setup, contextualise the service and select "Customer Information."
Type in "Billing Offer" and it will highlight all charges and discounts.
You will have to select each on to check for the amount and calculate the figures to get the price setup.
The below example is a business customer on "Voice Office Essential Fibre VOIP with 4 Static IPs" with a monthly setup price of €52.00 per month.
€40 - €22 + €2 + €32 = €50
