There are no I.D. requirements if you want to connect onto our Pay As You Go service. To connect to our Bill Pay service you need 2 forms of I.D. If you wish to pay your Bill Pay account by Direct Debit from a foreign euro-currency bank account from an eligible country within the SEPA Euro Zone, you will need to bring the bank statement for that account to a Vodafone Retail Store, along with a valid photo ID.
In order to connect, you will need the following:
1. One of the following forms of Photo ID:
- Driving License (In date with a photograph embedded)
- Passport (In date)
- Immigration Card (Supplied by Garda National Bureau of Immigration)
- Irish Bank Account/Irish Bank Account Card (Embedded with photograph)
- Irish Work ID (Must include fixed line work no & be embedded with a photograph. FAS cards not accepted)
- Irish Student Cards (Issued by a 3rd level college)
2. A Credit or Debit card with Chip & Pin
- Your Chip & Pin card will be charged €1 to verify validity
- Once the charge has been verified, the agent will proceed with your connection
- You will then be refunded the €1 in cash from the store's till
