Fibre Broadband Self installation steps

Step 1
If you have an existing modem plugged in, unplug it from the walland any devices it’s connected to. -
Step 2
Connect the WAN cable from yourmodem to the LAN port on your fibrebox. (Your fibre box is on your wall).
ÂMake sure your fibre box is pluggedin and turned on.
ÂThen, plug the other end of the WANcable into the port on your modemlabelled WAN.

Step 3
Plug the black power cable into thepower port on the back of the modem,then plug this into the wall socket.

Step 4
Press the power button on the modem.Â
ÂIt cantake up to 5 minutes for a connection to beestablished, you will know when the modem hassuccessfully connected to the internet when theinternet light turns from red to solid white.
ÂOnce connected, you may experience a momentary drop in your service while themodem upgrades. -
Step 5
Once you are connected to the internet you can now connect your devices to your new Wi-Fi.
ÂWi-Fi: using your device, searchand connect to your Vodafone Wi-Fi using the network name and password on the bottomof the modem.
ÂWired: using the yellow labelled cable, plug one end into your device and the other end into one of the yellow Ethernet ports on the modem. You can connect up to four devices via Ethernet at the same time.
