Vodafone General Competition Terms and Conditions

  1. These terms and conditions apply to all competitions run by Vodafone unless otherwise stated.
  2. In order to enter any competition, customers must correctly undertake the task set or answer the question correctly as the case may be. Competitions are only open to those people identified as being permitted to enter or requested to enter as the case may be. Competitions are not open to Vodafone employees, agents, contractors or sub-contractors - or their families.
  3. Customers entering any competition will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions.
  4. Entries must be strictly in accordance with these terms and conditions and any other conditions in the messaging or promotions around such competition or they will be invalid. One entry is permitted per person. Entries from agents/third parties are invalid.
  5. Vodafone accepts no responsibility or liability for entries or information relating to entries that are lost.
  6. An independent judge will pick the winning entry or entries at random from valid entries received. The decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  7. Any prize is as stated in any messaging or promotions advertising such competition. No cash or other alternative will be offered and prizes are non-transferable.
  8. Vodafone reserves the right at its sole discretion to alter any prize or substitute the prize with cash to the same value for any reason and without notification. In the event that the winner declines the prize awarded to him/her or Vodafone is unable to contact the winner after reasonable efforts have been made, Vodafone may award the prize to another entrant, selected at random.
  9. By accepting the prize, the winner grants Vodafone the right to use and publish his/her name and picture in such media as Vodafone may choose (including but not limited to the internet) for advertising and promotional purposes without additional consideration.
  10. Vodafone is excluded from liability for any loss, damage or injury which might occur to the winner or any other person with whom the winner shares or gives the prize.
  11. All entrants to Vodafone pay as you go and Cherry Points competitions will be automatically signed up to Vodafone Cherry Points. By entering any competition you agree that Vodafone may contact you with updates on Vodafone products and/or services via email, SMS, telephone or any other manner. Should you wish to be removed from the contact list, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Vodafone reserves the right to suspend or terminate the competition or amend these terms and conditions at any time for any valid, technical or commercial reason.

Vodafone Fantastic Fridays - General - Terms and Conditions

  1. The Vodafone Fantastic Friday Scheme is available to eligible Vodafone mobile customers on IOS or Android smartphones through the My Vodafone app. Vodafone with fixed broadband and TV services are eligible if opted into email communications. Eligibilty is determined by Vodafone in accordance with these terms and conditions.
  2. To redeem rewards, enter competitions and access discounts, Vodafone mobile customers must have the My Vodafone app downloaded to your IOS or Android phone. Vodafone with fixed broadband and TV services participation is through email communication only. Details of the offer redeemed by the Vodafone customer will be sent to them before 6pm on the same day of offer request – this day will always be a Friday.
  3. To receive an offer, a free reward, be entered into a competition customers must provide a correct Vodafone mobile account number and email address to receive.
  4. You must be a Vodafone mobile or fixed broadband/TV service customer at the time you try to redeem your free offer/reward.
  5. Vodafone can take any action it considers appropriate if we have reason to believe that you are abusing the Vodafone Fantastic Friday Scheme, including withholding offers already redeemed/requested.
  6. Vodafone reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions or discontinue The Vodafone Fantastic Friday Scheme (or any part of it) for valid commercial, technical or operational reasons, without prior notice being issued to the Customer. Members may be removed from the scheme at any time at the discretion of Vodafone Ireland.
  7. The Vodafone Fantastic Friday Scheme is not available with any other offer and/or promotion unless otherwise specified or redeemable as a cash or credit.
  8. Persons registering for free rewards, offers and competitions as part of the Vodafone Fantastic Fridays Scheme will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions.
  9. Persons entering the Vodafone Fantastic Friday Scheme agree to Vodafone or Vodafone Agents contacting you from time to time by post, telephone, e-mail or text message providing information on various aspects of the Vodafone products and services and the Vodafone Fantastic Friday Scheme. If you do not wish to receive such details you should contact Vodafone Customer Care.
  10. Competition handsets are for use on the Vodafone network only and may be subject to additional terms and conditions which can be found on www.vodafone.ie.
  11. Competition tickets for events - Customers are responsible for ensuring that they meet the requirements to gain entry into the event and are available on the date in question. Vodafone will not be responsible for the customer’s inability to enter the event for any reason.
  12. Unique codes for free 3rd party rewards/Discounts codes are for use of Vodafone customers only.
  13. Persons entering the Vodafone Fantastic Friday Scheme agree to Vodafone publishing their name and location to Vodafone Social Media accounts in the event they are a winner of a competition/prize.

Customers with fixed broadband and TV services

  • The Samsung S8 competition is opened for entries for Vodafone customers with fixed broadband and TV services from Friday 12th May until midnight Sunday 14th May, 2017. Customers must be opted into email communications.
  • The winner will receive a Samsung S8 phone.
  • Vodafone customers with fixed broadband and TV services can only enter by following the link in the email they receive and entering their valid email address and mobile number in the space provided and accepting the T&C’s.
  • The winner will be contacted between 15th & 16th May, 2017 and must be active on a Vodafone fixed broadband or TV services plan at the time of contact.

  •  The Live at the Marquee competition is opened for entries in the Offers section of the My Vodafone App for IOS and Android from Friday 19th May until midnight Sunday 21st May, 2017. Customers must be opted into email communications. 
  • The winners will each receive a pair of tickets for either The Corona’s or Jenny Greene at Live at the Marquee, Cork in June 2017 with selected winners also receiving a 1 night stay in the River Lee Hotel including breakfast and one dinner.  Winners will be chosen at random for a pair of tickets. 
  •  Tickets & Hotel are not transferrable

  • The winner will receive the amount equalling the current tariff they are on every month for 12 months. Customer will be liable for any excess charges over their current plan each month.
  • The winner will be contacted between 29th & 30th May, 2017 and must be active on the Vodafone network at the time of contact.

  • The 1GB of free data will expire after 28 days.

Vodafone SOHO Business Referral Scheme

The following Terms and Conditions will apply to this offer:

  1. The scheme is available between Vodafone SOHO (Small Office Home Office) customers only. SOHO customers shall mean self employed people or VAT registered companies with 2 or less handsets. Vodafone in its absolute discretion shall determine which customers are SOHO customers.
