Kodaline Launch New Vodafone X Platform, ‘Level Up’
Level Up provides Vodafone X customers with access to a range of artistic spaces, courses and experiences
Dublin, 9thOctober 2019: Vodafone X* today launches Level Up, an initiative that unlocks access to professional spaces, equipment and experiences, enabling young people to fuel their ambitions across a huge range of sectors including entertainment, business, design and technology.
Whether it’s time in a professional recording studio, learning about capturing and editing cinematic shorts or accessing co-working spaces, Level Up has been designed to help aspiring musicians, designers, artists, photographers, entrepreneurs and tech enthusiasts to progress in their chosen field. With over 1,000 spaces, experiences and courses available, Level Up is affording the next generation of creatives to get one step closer to their goals, whether it’s a career in music, business, design, technology, video production or content creation.
Vodafone X has partnered with Irish band Kodaline to officially launch the Level Up initiative and offer aspiring musicians, writers and artists the chance to win a money can’t buy rehearsal session with the band. For a chance to win, share with us a unique audio or video rendition of your favourite Kodaline song, some original material or indeed your favourite cover song by October 23rd. The winning band or artist will enjoy a five-hour singing and recording workshop with Kodaline at the state-of-the-art Camden Recording Studios on 28thOctober. Gaining access to a Level Up space or course is easy. Vodafone X customers who top up by €20 per month can simply log on to vodafonexlevelup.com. Those who opt in to the programme will be sent a unique code that can be used to book their experience online**.
Speaking at the launch, Stephen Garrigan, lead singer of Kodaline said: “We’re really excited to partner with Vodafone X on this project. Vodafone’s Level Up platform is giving young people a fantastic opportunity to access spaces and workshops that will help them develop their skills and take a step closer to achieving success in their chosen career. It’s not just music and recording studios on offer – there is something for everyone, from photography courses to design courses, co-working spaces, acting masterclasses, coding workshops and business development courses.

Vodafone X customers each month can tag their finished projects or videos created through Level Up experiences with #VodafoneXLevelUp on Instagram or Twitter. Vodafone will pick selected users each month and highlight their work on the Vodafone Ireland social channels giving their work more chances of exposure.
