Vodafone calls on Ireland Fans to Wear Green with the Team Of Us this Saturday

As anticipation builds ahead of Ireland’s clash with New Zealand this Saturday, official team sponsor Vodafone has revealed plans to encourage rugby fans to turn the Aviva Stadium green.
Vodafone, and former Irish rugby international Jamie Heaslip, today called on Ireland fans to show their support and “Wear Green with the Team Of Us” on match day. Fans travelling to the match are encouraged to pull out their Ireland jersey, green scarf, hats and flags and turn Aviva Stadium green.
Fans at home can also get involved by sharing a snap of themselves in green with #TeamOfUs on social to be in with a chance of winning one of 100 new Ireland rugby jerseys.
Speaking about his role in the campaign, Jamie Heaslip said “I know first-hand what it means to play in the Irish jersey in front of an enthusiastic crowd. In 2016, the Irish fans in Soldier Field created an incredible atmosphere and played their part in the historic win over New Zealand. One of my stand out memories from the day is the sea of green in the stadium and we want to replicate that in Aviva Stadium this Saturday. Along with Vodafone, I am calling on all Irish rugby fans at home and in the stadium to wear green this weekend and get behind the team.”

Vodafone has created a Facebook profile filter which will allow fans to show their support and turn their profile picture green. Vodafone will also be putting an Ireland flag on everybody’s seat to make sure each fan can ‘Wear Green with the Team of Us’.
