We have identified a technical issue on our system intermittently impacting the android chat messaging app. As a result, messages that you sent may have been received by an unintended recipient. We have investigated and now resolved this issue. Please note that this issue was not caused by the android operating system. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

All customers who may have been impacted have now been contacted by Vodafone. If you have received a service message from Vodafone and you are concerned that a message you sent between 1 January 2019 and 21 February 2019 may have gone to an unintended recipient, you can contact our dedicated team by texting TALK to 50220 to obtain further information.
