Is there a contract for the watch or add-on?

No. OneNumber is a standalone add-on.
It will appear on your bill on a monthly basis and can be cancelled at any time.
If you have purchased your smartwatch with Vodafone, there is no contract associated with it.

Yes. If you purchased a watch from anywhere in Europe and you are a Vodafone mobile customer on the eligible plan you can avail of OneNumber.

You can add this to your plan in-store, online or through the My Vodafone App.

Billing

How will I be billed?  

OneNumber will appear on your monthly bill as an add-on. It will be €5 per month.

Yes. Pro rata will apply for the OneNumber add-on.

Can I distinguish between a watch call or phone call from my bill?  

No, it is OneNumber. All calls are for the same number. There is no device split on the bill.

My phone number is barred for non-payment, can I still use my OneNumber device?  

If you are barred for non-payment, the phone and watch are treated the same.

Calls / SMS / Data

Do I have any limits on the use of voice and data that I can use on the smartwatch?

No. The smartwatch consumes the minutes and data included in the mobile plan you have.

How can I see the call log on the equipment connected to Vodafone OneNumber?

Make a call: All calls made appear in the history of the device from which you made the call. So, if you make a call from your smartwatch, the call will appear in your watch's call history, not your smartphone's history.

Receive/reject a call: All incoming/rejected calls appear in the history of the equipment that received them. So if you answer a call on your smartwatch, the call log appears on your watch, and may appear (but not always) as a missed call on your smartphone.

Missed calls: All missed calls can be viewed on all devices.

Do call management features like forwarding work on my Smartwatch?

Yes. However, you should have Bluetooth turned on whenever you need to set up call management features (e.g. forwards, show my number, and call waiting), so that your watch can take over the changes.

Will I see calls from my phone and watch separately on my Vodafone bill?

No, calls won’t be separated by device on your bill.

Compatibility

Can you use an Apple handset with the Android Wear OS watches?

No. Only Android devices will work with the Android Wear OS watches.

What happens if I buy a OneNumber Plan (add on) and do not have a compatible handset or watch?  

OneNumber will not work if you do not have a compatible handset or watch. Please see more information on compatibility.

Can I buy OneNumber on a multi-mobile or Family account?  

Yes, each mobile line (mobile subscription) will be treated as an individual connection once they are on an eligible mobile plan.  

There is only one OneNumber subscription allowed per user.

Can I keep my OneNumber add on if I change mobile plan?

Yes. You must change to a billpay eligible plan.

If I leave Vodafone can I keep my OneNumber service?  

No. OneNumber is only available on the Vodafone network.

I am a PAYG customer, can I buy an LTE watch?  

The LTE watches are available for anyone (BP or PAYG) as the customer can buy the watch outright. However, OneNumber (the connectivity add-on) is only available for billpay and some SOHO / SME customers.

There would be no reason for a PAYG customer to buy an LTE watch as they wouldn’t be eligible for the connectivity benefit, however they are welcome do so.

I have bought an LTE watch from outside the EU, will it work on the Vodafone Ireland network?    

No, the Smartwatch you want to pair must be a model sold in Europe.

Cancellation

I want to cancel my contract with a phone and watch with the 14-day cooling off period what do I need to do?

For stores 14 day cooling off period only applies if the devices have not been opened and used.

If they have been opened and used, then they can only be returned for DOA if faulty. Standard T&C apply as per our in-store policies.

Lost or stolen

I have lost my watch, can I suspend the OneNumber service?

If your One Number equipment is lost or stolen and you want to cancel / suspend your OneNumber Plan, you must contact Vodafone immediately to make them aware of your situation. You will be responsible for all charges incurred until you tell us that your OneNumber equipment is lost.

You will need to know your My Vodafone username and password to log in.

You can follow the lost/stolen flow and your eSIM profile will be removed.

Once you have a new watch you can log back in and activate the service again.

Roaming

How does roaming work with Vodafone OneNumber?

You can't have the roaming service on your smartwatch. Thus, we advise you to always travel with your smartphone to foreign destinations, so you can always be connected via Bluetooth.

Can I make emergency calls from my watch while roaming?  

You can make an emergency voice call from the watch even of the phone is not connected by Bluetooth.

If the emergency services need to call you back the call will be routed to your phone. Please note the phone needs to powered on.

Repair and return process for LTE watches are the same as for phones.

Transfer of ownership

Can I transfer the ownership of my account that has the OneNumber service active?  

Yes, this can be done using the transfer of ownership process.

The transfer of ownership is completed on the primary number. All services will be transferred.

Can I do a transfer of ownership and not transfer the OneNumber service?

Yes. Before starting the change of ownership flow, you must cancel the OneNumber add-on.
