How does Ask Once work?

Most issues are sorted the first time you contact us.

If your query needs specialist support, we won’t ask you to chase us. Instead, we’ll take ownership of it from start to finish.

Here’s what happens:

  • We give you a case reference number.
  • We explain what will happen next and when.
  • A dedicated team manages your issue until it’s resolved.
  • We keep you updated, so you don’t need to contact us again.

We’ll agree how you’d like to hear from us, by SMS or a follow up call.

Who is eligible for Ask Once?

When doesn’t Ask Once apply? / When Ask Once might not apply

We aim to own every query, but some situations need extra time or support from external teams or specialists.

In these cases, we’ll still give you:

  • A reference number
  • A dedicated team managing the issue
  • Regular updates on progress

Ask Once may not apply to:

  • Complex broadband installations or damage to infrastructure
  • Widespread network issues caused by severe weather or major power failures
  • Legal or regulatory queries
  • Debt and collections queries, which are handled by our specialist Collections team
