Sensory hours
Would you rather visit our stores at a quieter time? A number of Vodafone stores have committed to autism friendly shopping hours, in partnership with AsIAm, on Wednesday mornings between 9am and 11am. In these stores and during these hours noise is minimized to make your experience with us more pleasurable. Assistance Dogs are more than welcome. We have put in place priority seating arrangements for your comfort. We provide appointments as often as possible so that you are not left waiting. Our Autism Ambassadors wear lanyards to support communication needs in person, and much, much more.
Visit our autism awareness dedicated page to learn more about our sensory hours and other related initiatives.
JAM Card
In 2025, Vodafone Ireland partnered with JAM Card and NOW Group, reinforcing our commitment to inclusion and diversity. The JAM Card (Just A Minute) allows those with invisible disabilities to discreetly request patience during daily interactions - whether in stores, on public transport, or elsewhere.
As part of this partnership, we’ve provided tailored JAM Card eLearning training for our retail teams, equipping them with the skills to support people with visible and invisible disabilities. This is a meaningful step towards breaking down barriers, enhancing customer service, and fostering a culture of understanding and neurodiversity across Vodafone.
