With Google Assistant, you can control your TV with just your voice. Your Vodafone TV box has a built-in microphone that will capture your voice commands.

To activate, simply say "Hey Google" or "OK Google" loudly and clearly.

For this to work, your remote control has to be connected via Bluetooth. To connect the remote to the TV box, hold the Number 3 DEF icon button and the yellow button for 5 seconds.

If you prefer using the remote control, there is a microphone icon button on the remote. Press and hold that button to start talking to Google Assistant.

Once activated, you can ask Google Assistant to do various things, such as:

• Movies and TV shows: "Play ‘Stranger Things’ on Netflix "
• Apps: "Open YouTube. Search cat videos."
• Search for genres: "Find sci-fi movies."
• Playback: "Pause." "Stop." "Resume."
  

All from your smartphone or tablet, you can control your Vodafone TV box from the Vodafone TV App.

Easily access the TV guide from the app and search for programmes or channels using the remote control feature.

You can also schedule reminders and recordings for your favourite TV shows from your mobile or tablet, without having to use a separate remote.

If you prefer to use a remote control, one is still included in your package and arrives with your Vodafone TV box.
