Vodafone adds further cost savings to customer bills with changes to its RED Family offer

Vodafone have today announced more cost saving measures by updating its RED Family offer, opening the door for more customers to benefit from further reduced bills this year. Vodafone’s latest change will see its RED Family discount extended to now include Fixed Broadband, meaning Vodafone customers, new and existing, can see cost savings of a minimum €20 a month and a minimum €240 a year or up to €960.
Up to now, RED Family was a multi-mobile plan, where customers who have multiple bill pay subscriptions on one account receive a €20 discount on the third plan and any thereafter - with up to six connections permitted. Mobile only customers can continue to save today, however RED Family now includes broadband in a move that offers additional savings to loyal customers and ensures families of all shapes and sizes can access further savings. Customers will get €20 off their broadband plan when it’s added as a third line or subsequent line on their RED Family account. It also increases simplicity for customers who can enjoy the convenience of having only one bill per month for all household members.
Niall Gilmore, Head of Consumer Marketing Segments & CVM at Vodafone Ireland said; “This time of year is always a struggle for parents as their children go back to school or college, so ahead of the winter months, this latest offering will further ease the burden on households. Our updated plan will provide significant cost savings, that not only include reduced mobile bills, but now also savings on fixed broadband.

This latest announcement follows Vodafone’s recent game changing new broadband pricing structure to break away from the industry norm by treating every customer the same and not increasing the monthly bill after the minimum contract term. As a result of this Vodafone home broadband customers could benefit from significant cost savings of almost €1,000 over four years.
