What is eSIM?
An eSIM is a small chip built into your phone that acts as a digital SIM card. This makes it even quicker and easier to join the Vodafone network.

How do I set up eSIM?
Whether you're a new customer or existing customer, eSIM can be set up in a few quick steps. Just make sure you have connected your phone to Wi-Fi before you start.

Login to My Vodafone on your device and click “My SIM” to see a QR code and a confirmation code.

In device settings, scan the QR code and enter the confirmation code when prompted.

Once the eSIM profile is enabled, return to 'My SIM' on My Vodafone and click 'Activate eSIM'.

Request a SIM swap through Live Chat. This may take up to 15 minutes to complete.

Login to My Vodafone on your phone, click “My SIM” to see a QR code and confirmation code.

In device settings, scan the QR code and enter the confirmation code when prompted.

Once the eSIM profile is enabled, return to 'My SIM' on My Vodafone and click 'Activate eSIM'.
Apple eSIM Quick Transfer
Existing Vodafone customers can now benefit from Apple eSim Quick Transfer. This means you can transfer the SIM from your previous iPhone to your new iPhone, all from the comfort of your own home. You can also convert your current physical SIM card to an eSIM. Before beginning, make sure you are running iOS 18.2.

Physical SIM to eSIM

You can transfer a physical SIM or eSIM on your previous iPhone to an eSIM on your new iPhone.

On your new iPhone:
Go to Settings > Mobile Service > Add eSIM.

Tap Transfer From Nearby iPhone.

Enter verification code when prompted.

The transfer process will begin.

You can convert a physical SIM to an eSIM on your existing iPhone.

On your new iPhone:
Go to Settings > Mobile Service

Tap Convert to eSIM. This will open a new screen where you will tap Convert to eSIM again and the transfer process will begin.

Wait for your eSIM to activate and then confirm the conversion. Your previous SIM card will be deactivated when the mobile plan on your iPhone is activated.

Tap Done and remove the physical SIM from your iPhone.
Android eSIM Quick Transfer
Existing Vodafone customers can now use Android eSim Transfer to set up an eSIM profile on your new Android device. Please make sure you are using a supported source and compatible devices. View the full list of supported phones.

Put your old and new phones next to each other to pair.

On your new phone, select Transfer phone number/SIM and then select Vodafone as your mobile service provider.

Your eSIM will be transferred to the new phone and the SIM card or eSIM from your old phone will be de-activated (card) or deleted (eSIM).

Samsung: Go to device settings and select Connections and go to SIM manager.
Google: Go to device settings and select Network and Internet and go to SIMs.![Step 2]( "Step 2")
Tap Add eSIM and select Transfer.

Select the phone number and confirm the transfer on your old phone.
